As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking to hire an Associate in our Partner Practice Group to work directly with our managing partner, Clinton Brown on the acquisition of corporate law partners throughout North America and London. An Associates role is fast-paced, dynamic and offers new challenges every day - no two days are ever the same!

You will learn and develop, but also challenge yourself. An outstanding senior management team will support you through which you will gain exceptional business skills.

Associates play a key role in the delivery of executive recruitment assignments, and you will be working closely with and supported by experienced consultants. The role involves the comprehensive identification of target candidates and engaging them in the executive search process to produce a high-quality client shortlist. You will be involved in:


Primary responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Immersing in the legal industry - actively pursuing new contacts and information

  • Delivering assignments alongside partners and leadership

  • Assisting in content generation for traditional, digital, and social media

  • Monitoring industry news / trends

  • Conducting pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence as well as proactively support strategic projects

  • Candidate research in relation to open briefs

  • Engaging with and creating rapport with candidates to present a career opportunity

  • Ongoing candidate identification and new business lead tracking

  • Ensuing up to date/accurate candidate record keeping in within chosen CRM system

  • Use of telephone, internet research and databases to identify the best candidates within specific environments

  • Existing client meeting management / co-ordination

  • Identifying and attending industry networking events

  • Managing and organising candidate liaison and job search process

  • Developing a good understanding of clients, their industry, and their cultures

  • Organising interviews for candidate as requested by the client.

  • Ability to read, interpret and participate in a response to a client brief


The typical profile of a successful candidate would include:

  • Excellent research and academic credentials with a degree or postgraduate qualification (Desirable)

  • One to three years of working in a commercial environment

  • A humble yet driven individual who is motivated to deliver and enjoys problem-solving

  • An intelligent and naturally inquisitive person who is well organised, structured, resilient, and disciplined

  • An analytical thinking process coupled with a polished and well-rounded communication technique and a high level of attention to detail
